Provincial Nominee Program
Every province in Canada wants to hire skilled and talented workers to build the economy. Leading tho which PNP was launched in 1998 and since then it has become one of the most leading ways to immigrate to Canada. Northern Canada territory of Nunavut and Quebec all the Canadian provinces wants to nominate skilled individuals to immigrate to Canada. Quebec has its own selection criteria for economic immigration which is also known as Quebec Immigration – Skilled Worker Program.
There are over 80 provincial immigration streams and it can be difficult to determine for which stream are you eligible.
Each province and territory has its own criteria and “streams” (immigration systems that target specific groups). The application process depends on which provincial stream are you applying for. You will need to pass a medical test and a police examination as part of the application process (certificate). These tests are required for everyone, regardless of where they choose to live in Canada.
